Vintage Mexican sterling silver Aztec style monkey pendant.

Striking design. As usual, the graphic design of Aztec art packs a big impact.

This Aztec monkey was called Ozomatli and was considered the factory companion spirit and servant of the god Xochipilli (god of music and dance). So the monkey was a creature associated with the arts, games and fun.
