Factory Woven Slit Landscape Tapestry, Wall Hanging- After Three Standard Stoppages, Marcel Duchamp, Dada, Fiber Art

Weaving made to reflect the shape of a vague landscape or mountain-scape woven in light factory brown yarn.

The linear shape is made with slit weave, to create dimension and shape with a monochrome brown yarn. The white warp can be seen on the back where they are hemmed.

This piece was a study based on "Three Standard Stoppages" by Marcel Duchamp. Notes of gravity, chance, hair, self portraiture and landscape.
