The battery keeps a charge pretty well for its vintage. It has always been used with a case factory & screen protector (still on the screen). The solar-charging wi-fi case with keyboard pairs effortlessly with the device & offers a laptop-like experience. I used it as such in grad school. The case is in poor condition on the outside of the folio, all of the black pleather peeled off, but it is ready for you to stickerbomb it… It is set up for Verizon and is wifi plus cellular ready.
