Product code: Vintage 1970s Bellbottom Seafarer Selvedge factory Navy Jeans 28 waist 32 Inseam// ~Modern Small--not named! Made in USA! Flare Dungarees

Rare, unmarked, Genuine Seafarers with selvedge denim!
These are the classic, unisex Navy issue (but they were NOT issued--there is NO name stenciling anywhere!!) --
This rare pair is estimated from the early 1970s (not the 90s does 70s), so they are 50 years old!
These have been nicely broken in--they are not at all stiff, but a light to medium weight 50/50 Cotton and Polyester blend to shed wrinkles.
They have the classic dungaree legs with a taper at the knee and flare out to a medium bell; note that there is no outseam on these, for a smooth look. They feature a nice, high rise, 2 front square patch pockets, 2 rear pockets, 7 loops for up to a tall 1-3/4" belt, and close with a vintage Talon 42 brass zipper, followed by a heavy duty 5/8" snap waist with the Seafarer logo. USA Made by the Seagoing Uniform co, New York, New York. These are awesome retro bells that will last a lifetime!

Detailed Measurements~
Waist: 28-29" (plenty of belt loops and could be darted if needed)
Inseam: 32" with a finished hem
Hips across bottom of zipper: 38"
Maximum hips near crotch 44"
Front rise: 12"
Rear rise: 14.5"
Thigh @ 1" below crotch: 23"
Knee: ~17-18"
Ankle: ~22" ( just over 11" flat)
Zippable length: ~5.5"

Vintage denim=NO stretch! I know that some poly cotton blends have some give, but these do not.
These have no tagged size. I would estimate an 4/6 as best fit for the ladies, 29 or 30 waist for the guys.
--but check the measurements above, which are of the actual garment--not your body.
Compare to your own measurements and an article of clothing that fits as you like, then evaluate how loose or tight you want these to fit.

Fabulous pre-loved vintage. These are very soft and clean, with a lot of character fade and patina. Good, honest wear, with factory distress and some fray at lower hems where they have dragged boots or the floor. Some seams have been reworked with color matched heavy duty thread. The zipper has stretch marks, but appears original. All seams, Zipper and snap are in good working order.
Priced a little higher than most Seafarers I've sold due to the rarity of the selvedge, the age, and no outseam.

Shown way too tight on model with 31 waist, 44 booty and 25thigh. Photos 1-9 are of the actual jeans for sale. Photo 10 is from an identical, but larger pair to give an idea of fit.
