This is a fabulous piece, I just could not capture the magical quality! It is so big and pretty on a wood table. If my table was not round, I would never let this go!! I was told the lady got it back in the early 70s so it is very old but in wonderful condition.
It is slightly off-white but not quite ecru. It measures 98 by 76. Perfect for a holiday table. And oh you should see it layered over a red cloth for holidays! I do not believe this is factory hand crocheted. I am not sure, but it appears to be maybe machine done?. It is just gorgeous.
I do not see any stains on this piece at all!! I have not laundered the linens I find. I always leave that for the new owner. I find everyone has their own favorites that work best.
