CLOISONNE CIGARETTE MATCHBOX Ashtray Dish factory Three 3 Piece Set Antique Black T Fret Wan Diaper Pink Peony Lotus Floral Chinese Vintage Enamel

Vintage/Antique Cloisonné Cigarette Box, Matchbox and Ashtray - Lidded cigarette box measures approximately 3" tall with a 2.5" diameter. Matchbox holder measures about 2.5" l x 1.5" w x 1" h. Ashtray/small dish has approximately a 3.5" diameter and is about .5" tall. All pieces are black with a wire T Fret/Wan/Diaper auspicious background. Floral motif on all three that look to be peonies but could be another flower. Matchbox has a peony on one side and a lotus on the opposite side. Matchbox appears to have a lining that's factory either made out of strong paper or balsa wood. Made in Chine engraved on matchbox (which means it was made anywhere from 1919 on). The cigarette box and ashtray are unmarked. Ashtray has a wire floral design on back. Interior of cigarette box has a blue/turquoise enamel. Light pitting and a few tiny dings in enameling. Matchbox has a tiny piece of cloisonné missing on one side. Nothing detracts from beauty of items. All brass showing has a patina from wear and age. Please use your zoom for more detail. These were purchased from an estate collection and not sure if they were actually made to go together but they do match well together. Cigarette box could also be used as a tea caddy. Ashtray could be used as a trinket dish. Pretty set for your decor, cloisonné or tobacciana collection!
