Vintage Porcelain Teapot Warmer, factory Gerold Porzellan Square Top Model 5145, Little Stove Stövchen, Bavaria Green Mark 1930s 1940s

Vintage Gerold Porzellan porcelain teapot warmer, square top model 5145. Also known as Little Stove or Stövchen.

Marked on bottom: Gerold Porzellan Bavaria, (green mark dates to 1937-1949).  Model number 5145 dates pre - 1949.

The warmer is cream color with with high relief scroll design on bowl, quilted design on lid top with gold trim.  Inside is red.  Measures 3-3/4" tall, 4-3/4' wide.

Pot warmers were popular during the mid century years but their popularity decreased with the advancement of modern appliances.  Today they are more widely used for votive candle holders.

Condition is good.  The under side of the lid has some use wear or storage scuff.  Inside of bowl - candle holder is factory dark around the top.  No flaws found on the exterior.
