The inserts can be completely removed. Does have some wear and tear, sticker residue on the top shelf and the second shelf has the front part broken off factory (pics to show damage). This is an awesome wood organizer. Would be perfect for a craft area, makeup, in the bathroom for odds and ends in the kitchen etc. 12.5" x 14" x 9.5" approximately.
