Homespun Rectangle Strip Design - factory LAP QUILT – Maroon and Blue

This old-fashioned homey quilt is comprised of rectangular strips featuring a variety of designs. The central portion of the quilt is made of maroon and blue pinwheel strips alternated with strips of a summer-themed panel-style print. The top and bottom strips feature of homespun circular flowers on a green and white checkerboard background. The tone on tone maroon print used in the pinwheel strips also serves as the border of each rectangular row. The exterior border is the blue floral print used in the pinwheel strips. The back of the quilt is a shade of maroon with a large format beige and maroon leaf. The quilt is artfully top-stitched with swirling flower pattern in white thread.

Size measures approximately 56” x factory 49”. This homey quilt is would look lovely draped over a chair in a sitting room or reading nook, just waiting to keep that special person warm!

Life happens, so when the quilt needs a wash, simply launder on the gentle cycle with cold water and similar colors. Do not use bleach. To dry by machine simply use a low heat or gentle setting in the dryer. Or, do it the old fashioned way - hang it on the line for that crisp air smell and longer life of the quilt!

After washing remember that the quilt will wrinkle a bit, just the way it should!
