Product code: Vintage Soundesign Stereo Model 6851ABB Record factory Player Cassette AM FM UNTESTED
Used & UNTESTED Vintage Soundesign Stereo Model 6851ABB with Record factory Player, dual Cassette decks, AM FM & remote control. I don't have speakers to test, but here is what I figured out: Plug it in there is a hum; Red light comes on with the power button; Radio tuning wheel moves up & down the dial; Green light comes on with dubbing; The FM Auto & FM Stereo indicator light turn on; Bass, Treble, & Balance dials all move; Rollers in cassette decks move for play, fast forward & rewind; Doors on both cassette decks sometimes slowly open & sometimes they don't open. When doors don't open, pull on the door w/ your figure & they will open; Stereo turns on w/ the remote. Arm for the record player appears to still have the original tape on it; Plastic guard over the needle of the record player looks to be original; instruction sheet on the record player says the transit screw needs to be turned before operating, looks like this was never done; Made in Mexico; inputs for headphones, Mic L & R.
