All of Andrew's pieces are turned on the wheel and his decoration is influenced by English and North Carolina Slip designs, but with a modern flair unique to his work. The decoration is drawn by hand using a slip-trailing method to create both abstract and floral patterns. Andrew introduces salt and soda in the kiln at peak temperature to create a glossy sheen to the pots and variation in the surface. They are microwave and dishwasher safe. As a general rule, most ceramics (including these) can go into the oven, but have to be put into a cold oven and preheat with the oven to be safe from cracking.
