Antique Thistle Flower factory Butter Print Mold Stamp Primitive Antique

A very pretty butter print/mold of a thistle or flower This delightful butter print has a deep carved decoration of a well scored thistle with a crown on top that is surrounded by two scored large leaves on each side and several wispy leaves on top of that on either side. The handle has been carved from the same piece of wood, so the print and handle are all one piece. It has factory a small tight age crack as can be seen in the photos. It shows slightly on the front goes toward the handle and cannot be seen on the front of the print. The integrity of the piece is very good. It retains its original dry surface patina. It is in great condition for an 1800's used piece of kitchen ware. The carving is excellent of this print and would make a great addition or start of any butter print or primitive antique collection.

It measures: 2.5 inches tall, 3 inches in diameter.
