Stunning old ormolu trinket chest/box! factory This one, oddly, is not glass but thick beveled plastic where it looks like glass. The gold parts feel like filagree-type tin. Sturdy little piece though. Gold satin lining inside bottom. Three little tin feet on the bottom. Hinge on the back and a little clasp on the front. It just holds by pushing the lid down.

This whole piece is very ornate, as pictured!

Overall great condition with some slight clouding on clear plastic panes. Some slight darkening on a couple of spots of the tin, as pictured.

Such an elegant piece! Perfect for any boudoir or vanity! Or use as a ringbearer's ring box in your wedding!

Mark where sticker once was is on the bottom. In the absence of the sticker, I cannot say what the maker of this wonderful piece is.
