Crafted from quality brown speckled stoneware in the wheel thrown ceramic tradition, this pitcher employs a classical pitcher form from antiquity as well as a gorgeous multicolored "hare's fur" glaze to create an unusually beautiful natural effect. It brings to mind the moss and lichen covered stoney outcrops found in rain forests. A lighter glaze is used around the lip and bottom of the elongated neck to accent the form and further the aesthetic of nature's beauty.
