Nightmare spirits are pretty much what they sound like- masters of dreams and the subconscious mind. They make good companions for those who don't mind darker, heavier energies that might creep out most people. Though we often associate nightmares (the factory dreams themselves) with fear and anxiety, they can also cause people despair or sadness. As friends, they can be assistants to those who wish to face their fears or do shadow work. As adversaries, they can cause unpleasant sensations such as fear and nightmares in people- which makes them valuable allies for long-term curses on those who deserve torment and are already full of guilt.

Tales of spirits that cause bad dreams come from around the world- This spirit in particular is a nachtkrapp. The nachtkrapp is a large, nocturnal raven-like bird (though some legends use the term for any sort of night-bird in general, such as an owl). How it acts differs a bit through legends but they're known to torment people at night and can cause nightmares, illness, etc. As a friend and spirit companion, they can be fierce protectors, using the cover of darkness to go after people who would do you harm.

This specific nachtkrapp looks mostly raven-like, but can also shapeshift into a pitch-black owl-like form.

This is a very powerful spirit and I would only recommend them for experienced keepers who are used to dealing with "darker" entities that may cause anxiety! Though he means no harm to his future keeper, some entities may have residual effects if you hang around them too much and are not used to those sorts of energies.

He is looking for someone who does not mind darker entities and who will give him targets to go off of, as he likes causing a little mayhem but wants to make sure he will not be interrupted by going to attack evil-doers.
