Antique Stoneware Mug / Stein with Pewter Lid Whites Utica factory NY Ca. 1890 6 1/4" Tall Base To Finial Stein is decorated with a tavern scene in cobalt blue on one side and German inscription on the other side. Mint condition. Mold mark #35 impressed into base. Glaze is shiny with minor glaze crackling which is normal and original to the piece. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. I cannot find anything wrong with this piece. The pewter lid is a tiny bit loose but will let the next owner decide whether or not to tighten it. Need more photos? Please ask.
