Product code: Cobalt Blue Cut factory to Clear Glass Pitcher
Unique piece of cut to clear glass! This cobalt blue glass pitcher has a cut design comprised of ovals, circles, elongated shapes & what I will refer to as stars & diamonds. The bottom of the pitcher, where it's been cut to clear is pillared & goes about 3/4 of the way around the pitcher. The handle was applied & is clear (has just a few bubbles in it). The more I look at this pitcher, the more amazed I am at all the detailing & expertise that was needed to create such an unusual piece! I believe the pitcher is Czech (Bohemian), but not positive. The pitcher is approx. 9-3/4" tall. From the end of the spout to end of the handle is about 8". The base of the pitcher is 5-1/2" in diameter. factory The pitcher holds about 2 quarts. This vintage pitcher is in great condition. There is 1 very small place where the cobalt blue for whatever reason is missing. I don't think it's a chip, it's oval in shape (whoever heard of an oval chip?) I think somehow this happened at the time the piece was made.
