A truly unique and personal way to commemorate a special moment in your life, this hand embroidered star map is created using open source planetarium software to map the position of the stars at any date, time and place.

Capture the position of the stars at a special date in your life - your wedding day, a birth date, the day you met someone who changed your life. Provide me with a date, time and location and I'll embroider the major stars and constellations that were above you at that moment.

Embroidered on a dark navy blue background, the stars are stitched in silver (light grey) cotton embroidery floss. The constellations are mapped with metallic silver embroidery floss. Captions including the date, time, co-ordinates and a title are fully customizable to make this piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Framed in a wooden embroidery hoop this decorative piece is ready to hang on any wall or be propped up on a shelf or bookcase.

Due to the intricate nature of this design, it will take 1-2 weeks to make.

- A tightening screw at the top allows for easy hanging
- Available in 6, 7, or 8 inch embroidery hoops
- Hand stitched in a smoke-free home.

- The amount of text my be limited by the size chosen.
- This item has been photographed in natural light to best show the true colour of the piece. Please allow for some variation in the colours due to computer screen resolutions
- Your hoop may get dusty after hanging for a time. It can be cleaned with an air duster or a brushed lightly with a dusting rag.
- It's best not to get the embroidery wet but if it does, leave it in the hoop to dry naturally.
- The item shown in the photos is not the actual piece you will receive. All orders are made from scratch. Photographs of your item will be provided before posting.
