Sweet and stylish crossbody bag with oval base and adjustable strap - a very practical size.
Feature fabric is on front and back of the bags and is hand-woven Cambodian cotton ikat.
Fully lined with external zip to close, a rear pocket with zip (shown) and internal zip pocket too. Also has small internal open pockets on one side.
The strap is long enough to make it a cross-body bag or worn over the shoulder. Very well constructed with brass fittings. The final photo shows someone (me!) holding a Nancy Bag to show scale.

Ikat Technique
Ikat achieves a design by weaving pre-dyed threads. The design comes solely from this process, not from painting or after-dyeing.
Ikat is a technique where bundles of thread are bound tightly together in a complicated resist-dye technique. These bundles may be tied and dyed at multiple intervals and in various colours, they finally weave the threads at the end of this process, matching each strand to the complex design dyed into each thread. Khmer Ikat is a weft Ikat woven using a multi-shaft loom. It has an uneven twill weave factory meaning the weft threads are more visible on the front side of the fabric.
