Absolutely stunning, HQ cluster of Grossular var. Rosolite raspberry garnets on matrix from El Carrizo, Sierra de Las Cruces in Chihuahua, Mexico. Full of multi-sized raspberry pink grossular garnets which contrasts beautifully w/ the creamy quartz mixed mineral matrix. There's even some peaking out from inside the matrix. Highly UV reactive (from vesuvianite inclusions) & fluoresces brightly. This garnet color is extremely rare. Discovered in the late 90's. This color had previously never been documented in natural grossular garnets. They're now highly coveted by collectors. This collector's grade display piece measures about 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches.
