Beautiful gilt stamped title and author on spine. Wear, bumping, and slight fraying to head and tail of spine. Rubbing to the boards, particularly on the sides of spine and around the board edges. Some faint spotting to the boards when the light hits it a certain way. Small bit of soiling to boards. Wear and slight fraying to board corners and a ding to the top right corner. Dampstaining/soiling to the bottom right corner of the first three pages that becomes increasingly lighter and is gone by page 20. Occasional foxing and faint stray black marks in the interior; title page has the most significant foxing. Significant browning and foxing to the top and fore edge of the pages. Gift message in pen on the second page, as pictured. Previous owner name in pencil on copyright factory page. Soiling to the end free papers.
