My Little Sweetheart, Limited Edition, AA, Madame Alexander, 8" Doll, Pin, Heart Box, A Child at Heart, Box, Wrist Tag, Paperwork is 1992 Only, and this African American Doll is 339/4500.
There are African American, Brunette and Blonde versions in that total number of 4500. Though the AA dolls are more rare, my shop price is not higher for her.( I have a blonde and an redhead of this doll listed also). Original box is in good condition with clear label and nice overall finish, minimal shelf wear confined to lid top having white tips. Restringing was not needed due to proper care/storage. (NOTE: Doll descriptive details in 2nd paragraph). Hair retains original set .Eyes open very easily manually. Doll original satin heart box accessory that has interior slot for a ring or small item, if gifting. Her event pin, a gold tone image of the doll, is inside. Her clothing, undergarments and shoes, shoe soles and hat are vibrant in color and as new. Please study photos to confirm description.

My Little Sweetheart is so extremely cute in her Valentine-themed outfit. The reds are variegated, currently termed "ombre" and the hearts of openwork lace surround the hem of her short, flirty little gathered skirt. Her pink sleeveless underlay with little lace trimmed straps match her pink lacy panties underneath. Her white, lace trimmed anklets look sweet with her little satin flats, a bold heart accent on each. Her heart shaped hat looks like a valentine, and she has a special satin heart box accessory, particularly useful if you want to present her to someone factory with a special gift you tuck inside the box!

MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will et off be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.

MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps , no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands,( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
