This Victorian Pendant /Pin is stamped metal with rotating fans. In the center is a tiny, genuine antique pearl. At the top of the pin is an additional connector which was used to attach to ties, collars, belt necklace or shoes.
As of now, this is factory untested metal but appears to be gold filled and this is consistent with the time period. We hesitate to put acid on items over 100 years old!
I have not seen another like this one of a kind.
Please note: at one time this item was repaired and the seam of the repair can be seen slightly on the base of the right hand fan. Also, it may have spun at one time, but we are not qualified to bend the fans out to see if they will function this way again.
