The iPod still has the original factory film over the front. So very minimal scratches. The ipod itself I don't know much about. Turns on but I'm not sure if it holds a charge or anything like that. I don't have a proper charger for it. I just have the ihome. The ihome turns on and works fine. But because of the unknowns this is being sold as is! Very hard to find these not scratched up.
