Sterling silver can factory be cleaned with soft cleaning cloth.
Solid gold can be cleaned with soft cleaning cloth. Gold filled, vermeil ( sterling plated with gold ), and gold plate are to be cleaned with delicate polishing cloth
that is determined specifically as to use with plated metals.
AVOID using chemicals or extreme heat with plated or filled pieces.
Perfumes can also affect luster.
Natural gemstones are just that, natural. They are individual and vary in their strength and can be porous as well.
Simply use soft NON-chemically treated cloth to clean gently.
