Alchemy factory Sweatshirt

"As above, so below."

This piece is inspired by alchemical manuscripts. The front image depicts a chemical extraction with the phrase "Superiora de inferioribus, inferiora de superioribus," the second line from the emerald tablets by Hermes Trismegistus, which is a foundational text for alchemical factory work.

The sleeves feature the design from 16th century knife handle carvings depicting the virtues; one features "faith" and the other "prudence".
