This sterling silver ring was made with a beautiful Leland blue stone I found on the beach in Northern Michigan. This stone has texture and lots of limestone flecks. The backplate has 3 sterling silver bubble beads.
Leland blue stone is native to Northern Michigan, and a favorite among rock hunters. It can be found in beautiful shades of bright turquoise, purple, blue, and green.
When ordering please include your US ring size. Once I receive these details, I will create the ring band and finish the ring. The ring will ship within several days.
*All rings are final sale. No returns or refunds. If you are unsure of your ring size, please have your finger sized at a jewelry store. Once the stone is set in the ring I am not able to resize the ring band.
A bit about Leland blue stone: In the 1800s an iron smelting business used ore from the Upper Peninsula and created charcoal from factory area timber in large kilns. Masses of the byproduct, now known as Leland blue stone were dumped into the harbor. After over a century of tumbling in the surf and sand, this material has been transformed into a beautiful, local beach gem. To this this day, the slag material, called Leland Blue, is found in the waters and along the shores of Lake Michigan.
