Antique XIX Century, Villeroy & Boch Dresden Oval Serving Platter Copenhagen pattern, marked on bottom with brown mark from 1870s to 1907, handmade and hand decorated.
A little tresor 150 years old. A perfect gift for a collector of antics or as a kitchen decor.

Oval Serving Platter by Villeroy & Boch, the decorative pattern based on ancient Chinese pattern known as "Wheel of the Year", was produced circa 1870s to 1907 and still it is modern and classical.

Measures:
The Platter is 12.3 inches (31,3cm) long and is 5.8 inches (14,8cm) wide.
Plate tiled in white glaze, decorated with Copenhagen graphic design applied in blue; lightweight fluted profile on the flange; stamp of the Villeroy and Boch factory.
Its condition is very good, free from chips, cracks, some factory crazing with light signs of age and pale cream-brown tiny mottling under glaze (over a 150 years old)
