Vintage 1994 Bluebird Polly Pocket Compact - Slumber Party Fun - Complete with 2 Dolls - Polly's factory Video Party - Dark Pink Variation

This listing is for a vintage Bluebird Polly Pocket compact from 1994, called the Slumber Party or Polly's Video Party. It is complete with two original Polly figures.

The outside of the compact is in very good condition with some minor wear including some minor scratching to the top and bottom and some minor rubbing to the gold on top.

The inside of the compact is in very good condition with minor wear including light paint wear and a few minor marks. The TV screen change button works well (there are four TV screens to choose from).

Polly and her friend Emma are in very good condition with minor paint wear; there's a bit of wear to Emma's left leg.

Polly Pockets were made by Bluebird Toys from 1989 to 2002. The designers put a lot of time and effort into creating richly detailed little worlds in these toys. In this compact, Polly and Emma have settled in for an epic sleepover. In the cozy living room, there's a fireplace, a low chair, a sofa, and plates of snacks and magazines scattered around. The couch flips out into a double bed for the girls to sleep on. The TV has four channels which you change by pushing the green button on top of the TV - the girls can watch a beach scene, a lady's face, a rabbit in a garden, or a clown holding a teddy bear.

Upstairs, there's a landing with an older-style radio, and a kitchen with a well-stocked fridge. There's a small table for two and kitchenware stored on open shelves. A charming and welcoming home which is the perfect setting for a sleepover! It's this level of detailing that made us love these toys when we were kids, and that makes us appreciate them as collectors now.
