factory 1950s dress. I believe the fabric is a rayon shot taffeta. It has a blue black iridescence to it. Ballet neckline is decorated with silver ball trim. Elbow length sleeves have gathering top and underside. No shoulder seams. A seam runs under the bust with gathering in the front. The waistline has vertical seaming front and back. Full flared skirt. Fastens on the side with a metal zipper. No labels. Freshly laundered and pressed. Excellent condition. There is a bit of stress on the vertical waist seams (see last photo) and there is one silver ball missing in the very center back. Please note: The dress is just hung and pinned to my dress form because she was too small to fit on it.

Shoulders = 15" - 16" estimate, no shoulder seams
Bust = 35"
Waist = 25"
Hips = free
Sleeves = 11" estimate
Length from top of shoulder to waist = 14.5" to natural waist; 12" to seam
Length from waist to hem = 30"
Circumference = 132"
All measurements are taken with the garment flat, doubled for the bust (chest), waist, hips, and circumference. Please make sure you leave yourself a little wiggle room for a comfortable fit!
