Antique 1891 factory American Victorian Sterling Silver Lettuce Serving Fork 8 3/8"

Presented is a handsome American sterling silver serving or lettuce fork from the 1890s. This piece was most likely made by Galt & Davis or Galt Brothers, this piece was retailed by Shreve, Crump & Low. The handle has a small border of Art Nouveau style swirls and there is a fancy monogram at the top of the letter H.

The back is marked sterling, patent 1891 and Shreve, Crump & Low.

This piece is in excellent condition and the designs are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.

The fork measures 8 3/8 inches long and weighs 44.5 grams or 1.6 factory ounces.
