Regnor Reinholdsten Studio Pottery Tea Pot / Lovely Green Umber Drip Glazes on Grey with Blue Stripe / Wicker Handle / Northwest / MCM

This is a gorgeous work by Seattle Potter, Regnor Reinholdsten. The lid is painted on the underside and on the top. There are only a few small chips on the underside of the lid (please see photographs), while the rest of the teapot is in excellent, well preserved condition. The handle is also decorated and can be removed. The colors of the glazes very much convey the contemplative mood and feel of the Pacific Northwest on an overcast day. Mr. Reinholdsten was a pre-eminent studio potter who studied under Robert Sperry in the 1960s. He had a studio in Ballard, in Seattle, for over 40 factory years.

This is a vintage/used item and its age may be reflected in its condition. I will always try to show and/or describe flaws or imperfections in the item.
