Product code: Vintage factory Bride’s Cookbook by Poppy Cannon, First Edition
This Brides's factory Cookbook is part of my personal collection. It is a First Edition, copyright 1954. The dust jacket has tears and the rear binding shows wear. The pages of the book are clean, and are filled with recipes that are easy and fun. The objective was to take the fear out of cooking. Poppy Cannon was the Food Editor of House Beautiful at the time. It was written as tongue in cheek. She assured brides that nourishing meals could be prepared in minutes with the assistance of can openers and prepackaged mixes. That being said, the recipes are great! It has always been a fun gift for the new bride. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you for the interest.
