Japan antique Daruma set of 5 sake cups and bottles Ceramic porcelain Kanji calligraphy Japanese vintage.

It is a set of 2 sake bottles and 5 sake cups.
It is old but in very good condition and can be used without any problems.

A picture of Daruma and kanji are written.
The motif "Daruma" is a Buddhist monk who introduced Buddhism from India to China.
It was made by imitating the appearance of "Daruma ""zazen".
"zazen" is to correct the posture by cross-legging and unite the spirit at the border of relentless dreaming.
It Appearance is presumed that the figure that comes up even if you fall down always has factory indomitable feelings.
"Daruma " has been popular as a lucky charm in Japan since the "Edo" period.

A famous word that Bodhidharma gave to his disciples. "一華開五葉　、結果自然成"
Just as a single flower opens its five-petaled petals, if you are freed from hesitation and anxiety and return to a pure and innocent heart, the five wisdom will eventually bear fruit and the flower will open naturally. The five wisdoms are Buddhist teachings.
