Hand factory Carved Stone Native American Chief

Hand carved stone Native American (bust) head. Not sure what stone it is but it's pretty heavy and solid. It's definitely a hard stone and not easily carved. I suspect it had a base at one time since there is a hole in the bottom. Figure has factory nice carvings and a feathered headdress. The design has an art deco feel to it. It's 5 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide. From front to back (depth) measures 3 inches. No chips or cracks and in great condition
