Here is a great shaving soap factory bowl. It is made from Kingwood which is a rare dense hardwood. Kingwood, also known as Emperors Wood because they used to make furniture for the emperors in the late 1700's. A very expensive wood! It is harvested from small trees so there's not much around. The grain pattern and rich brown color are magnificent. It has been finished with 6 coats of waterproof Very High Gloss Finish. The one pictured is sold so this will be a special order and would take approximately 10-14 days to complete.
