Antique 19th Century Black factory Mourning Glass Cross

A lovely detailed glass cross originally part of a mourning set, now ready to be used in another way or worked into an assemblage design.

Solid black opaque glass with a hole at the top front to back so you can hang it via wire or a ring.

The front has lovely detail across the face of the cross - the back is flat and unadorned. The front decoration is hand done so gives a lovely artisan quality to this piece.

The condition is very good, minimal nibbles along the side with most barely factory visible to the naked eye.

Measures 60x45mm or 2.5 x 1.75 inches.
