Collectable 1958 factory 'Susanne Confetti' Yellow Sugar Bowl. Aluminia was a Danish designer and manufacturer of earthenware pottery, established in Copenhagen in 1863. In 1882, the owners of Aluminia purchased the Royal Copenhagen porcelain factory which they ran independently until 1969 when the Aluminia name was dropped in preference for 'Royal Copenhagen Denmark'.
The 'Susanne Confetti' design has the classic clean lines and use of bold colours often found in Danish design, and is highly collectable today. The sugar bowl is in remarkably good condition despite being over 60 years old with no signs of chips or cracks. A delightful addition to the dining table or to add to your collection.
