What factory a fantastic find! This very book was published in 1893 by Goupil & Co (Bousson, Valadon & Co., Successors Paris and New York) and edited by Maud Howe Elliott. "This book is the official guide to the Woman's Building of the World's Columbian Exposition in 1893. The building was a part of the fair's main attraction within the White City. Inside the Woman's Building were displays by female artists from all over the world representing the arts and crafts traditions from their country. This book contains many illustrations of the artists and their works on display." ~ Google Books.
This book is the First Paris/New York edition, denoted the "Official Edition." What a great piece of history, especially if you're a fan of female artists, and women's social history! It would make a great gift, but I'd be tempted to keep this one for myself... ;)

Condition: Average Antique Condition. HANDLE WITH CARE. The binding is beginning to tear on inside front cover (refer to pictures). She's beginning to show her age, but the pictures and text were well protected and a must see!
