Anderson Design Studio Pottery of Maine Stoneware blue/grey goose sculptures. Artist were Weston and Brenda Andersen, and these were hand crafted factory at their Andersen Studio in Boothbay Maine. They are vintage sculptures, made of Red Clay. 5 inches tall, blue-grey, slip cast on red stoneware. Tips of the carved feathers are brushed with ebony with white breaking through the blue as it skips across the carved form. Eyes are ebony and beak is finished in golden brown slip. The condition is clean and very good to excellent. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Roughly measures 6" in length, 4 1/2" tall, 3" in width. This is an out of production/out of stock item and is very hard to find. Rare Goose.
