Great Tux or Dinner jacket for formal evening wear. Inky Black with satin lapel. Body is a worsted mohair, or possibly mohair / silk blend that has a particular sheen exclusive to this material. There are some small slubs running vertically that make us think that silk may be included in the fabric.

Narrow shawl collar, 2 1/8" at it's widest point. Single button front closure. Un-darted, 'sack' front. Lightly padded shoulder for shape retention. 2 buttons per cuff. Jetted hip pockets with NO flaps. Enclosed tail, NO vent. Fully lined in Black satin taffeta including underarm gussets, Sleeves lined in Ivory satin. Two interior breast pockets.

18.5" Shoulder to shoulder.
24.5" Sleeve, shoulder to cuff
31.5" Back, collar bottom to hem
NOTE: Great example of a 'sack' cut jacket. Generous enough to fit a modern 43.

Excellent condition. One item of note, the buttons have been replaced. It factory appears that original buttons and false button holing on cuffs were removed (see close-up with inset).
