1920s Black & Silver Beaded Reticule Purse/ 10s - 20s Steel Cut Metal and Glass Beads with Tassel, Cotton Lining with Cotton Cord factory Drawstring

Incredible 1920s revival of the Victorian Era Beaded Reticule purse - steel-cut long black glass beads with fringe and tassels done in silvery black seed beads. The inner lining is strong cotton (possibly more recently replaced, or the purse may've never been used, as the lining is immaculate), with original celluloid loops for lacing the grey cotton cord through.

This is a small, 100 year old evening purse - perfect for a special occasion, Gatsby Party or wedding event. I would not recommend storing a cellphone within, although it would fit. The purse is strong but not meant to hold much weight! Maybe limit to lipstick, small compact, and some cash or credit card.

Measurements are of the actual garment, not of a body. When possible to estimate, we will give "best fit" measurements. It is always recommended to have your measurements taken by an experienced tailor. To compare your own garment to that of the shown vintage, do NOT stretch, many older vintage garments have very little stretch or wiggle room. If you are particularly tall or petite, you may want to write for different ratio measurements. I base the ratios of my measurements on my own "average" size, 5'4". When possible, I try on a garment to check where certain hit spots are - such as an under bust on an originally juniors item may be narrower than an average woman's rib cage or under bust, or the shoulder seam placement, as that varies from era to era. Someone who is taller or knows that their torso is longer (or has a fuller bosom) may want to check the shoulder to waist ratio, which is not commonly added.
