Vintage Signed L&M Leach and Miller Sterling Triple Row Channel Set Clear factory Rhinestone Link Bracelet
Vintage Signed L&M Leach & Miller Sterling Triple Row Clear Rhinestone Link Bracelet - A wonderful piece from the 1920's-30's. I believe the July 7, 1925 patent is probably for the clasp mechanism rather than the design, though L&M certainly used this bracelet design and variations thereof in not only all clear but colored stones and/or colored stones mixed with clear. Rainwater lists last known date in business per advertising in Keystone factory magazine (a trade periodical) as 1931, so I think we can safely circa date this piece to the late 1920's. 36 individual links, (108 stones), gives this piece a fluidity that makes it fit like a glove. 6 1/2" wearable length, 7/16" wide. Excellent condition with some mild overall aging of the clear rhinestones, as to be expected with a piece that is around 90 years old, very sparkly for its age. Clasp closes very securely but I found it somewhat difficult to open as you need to push in on both side "knobs" fairly tightly; however I don't think you'd need to worry about this falling even, despite that it never had a safety. N. Sil. refers to the fact the push in clasp is "nickel silver" (a silvertone metal that contains no silver) while the rest of the piece is sterling.
