Beautiful French Vintage Glass Frilly Edge Lampshade Yellow Edging Frosted Glass Complete with Modern Brass Fixing Circa 1920s

Eye catching yellow edged French vintage glass ceiling lampshade from the era of the flappers and the emergence of new fangled electricity to light our homes. Most bourgeoise French homes of the time would have possessed at least one of these.

The glass is frilled around the edges of the shade, with a plain frosted glass design on the top of the shade.

They are, sadly, much rarer now, especially in perfect condition, as this one is, with no chips or cracks.

The surface of the glass shows a few age related imperfections, but these are unnoticed when the lamp is switched on.
