Everything to make your own Christmas angel vignette—a vintage angel, bottlebrush trees, snow, a pedestal bell jar and a couple of sparkly mistletoe sprigs.
I make vignettes that are fixed in place and when I set this one up, I really liked it this way/-where you can change and add things. I thought someone might enjoy it this way too. You can add your own items...keepsakes like a piece of jewelry, family heirloom or simply a unique ornament. Lots of possibilities...and lots of fun and memories if you set this up with a little one.
The angel by Napco is petite at just under 3” tall. She is playing an accordion or concertina and wearing a sweeping, white, tea length dress. She has a sassy 60s ponytail tied up in a celadon ribbon.
Her ribbon is what sparked this vignette—I have celadon bottlebrush trees that are just the right size for her; they just looked right together. The snow is fine and comes in a cute, plastic, craft supply jar. The snow, trees and mistletoe are new; the angel and bell jar are vintage. I cut the bases off the two celadon trees—the bases simply made them too tall. The tiny ecru tree is snowed and has a gold, wood base. All trees are natural sisal.
The bell jar is unusually shaped and has a glass foot/pedestal—this elevation brings whatever is in the bell jar closer to eye level and makes for exceptional display. Unfortunately, the bell jar has a chip on the base...so I am sending a couple of sprigs of sparkly mistletoe to cover this if it bothers you. And the mistletoe is celadon and looks perfect with the bell jar.
A fun little Christmas project that requires no shopping and very little time and effort.
The angel is in great condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. A little paint loss in the gold on her wings, although this may simply be uneven manufacturing coverage. She has the Napco seal.
The angel is almost 3” tall
The bottlebrush trees are 3 3/4”, 2” factory and 1 1/2” tall.
The bell jar is 9” tall.
