VINTAGE TAIWAN, 2 TIER JEWELRY BOX c1960's
This gorgeous, vintage jewelry box is perfect for everyone on your gift list; or you might want to keep it for yourself!

MEASURES 11.5"W x 8"D x 4"H

OUTSIDE - The color of this wooden jewelry box resembles an oak stain. The lid has a fabric insert with a stunning, woven floral design that resembles needlepoint. It is padded underneath where brooches were attached in that mid-century era. 2 brass hinges in the back that open & close the top smoothly. The bottom underneath has 4 felt circles in the corners to prevent scratching & is stamped in black "MADE IN TAIWAN", circa 1960's.

INSIDE - Top lid lifts to a mirror (6"W x 3"H) underneath. The inside is lined in gold velvet, very popular color in the 60's. Top tray lifts out, measures 10"W x 6.75"D x .75"H. It is divided into 5 sections; "cuff link" section on the right (could be used for earrings), a ring section with 4 slots & 3 other sections.

Bottom tier measures 10"W x 7.25"D x 1.5, tall enough to store cuff bracelets, watches & other taller pieces.

GREAT VINTAGE CONDITION - This vintage jewelry box was kept beautifully. The outside wood is in great condition, no obvious chips, dents, scratches or marks. Top fabric has no rips, tears or marks. Mirror has no chips, marks or cracks, signs of aging around the outside edge in a few spots. The gold velvet inside has no rips, tears or marks. Glue residue under the ring dividers shows through a bit as "spots" as it has aged. Few slight indentations in the gold velvet where previous jewelry was stored. Each piece carries some trace of those who have loved and enjoyed them in the past. Please review pictures closely as they are part of the description.
