1940's Vintage Boeing B-29 Superfortress Ashtray. The B-29 is 4 engine propeller driven heavy bomber flown primarily in WWII & the Korean War. A B-29 bomber named Enola Gay dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and has been the only aircraft ever used with nuclear weapons in combat. Some normal factory cosmetic wear over the years and yellowing of the propellers. Cast aluminum. Plastic propellers. Wingspan is 9” wide. Fuselage is 6.5” long. Ashtray is 6”X3”.
