This Tall Beautiful Candy Jar was made in the 1800's Victorian era.

The Lid and Jar are made of Delicate Thin Hand Blown Green Glass. Both the Lid and Jar feature Hand Painted Polished Gilt Bands and Stylized Lacy Swirled Flower Shapes with centers of Applied Glass Cabochon Red Beads. The Jar has a Tall Clear Glass Pedestal Bottom Rimmed with a thin Band of Polished Gilt. The Lid has a Swirled Clear Glass Finial topped with Polished Gilt. This piece is Not Signed as is typical of most pieces of this era.

A Lovely Piece to Display as is, or use as intended for candy, or fill it with small colorful Antique Ornaments for the Holidays.
Approximately 14"H Including Lid x Approximately 19"C at Widest part of Jar x 4"C at Rimmed Bottom of Pedestal x 4"C at Jar Opening x 5 1/4"H Inside Jar.

Condition: Excellent for age, but NOT Perfect. This is a Very Old Piece and has had much use over all these years. There are No chips, cracks, or fleabites in the glass on the finial, lid, jar, or pedestal. One of the Swirled Flowers on the Jar is missing it's red Glass bead Center. Four of the Swirled Flowers on the Jar have age and use appropriate Missing Gold Gilt Paint. There is also some slight age and use appropriate scratching to the gilt bands. The Lid is in Almost Perfect Condition with all glass beads and all gilt present. Please See All of My Phots for Condition.
