CARRIER OILS

*Ashwagandha helps in the production of natural skin oils. It is also known to aid in the production of skin-enriching compounds like hyaluronan (hydration), elastin (suppleness) and collagen (strength).

*Cucumber Oil (carrier) can fight off free radicals caused by oxidative stress when the skin is exposed to damaging UV light. Cucumber Seed Oil even promotes cell regeneration making this an excellent choice for mature, aging skin. A high content of natural tocopherols and phytosterols further enhance its protective and nutritive benefits for personal care. Phytosterols are also known for their ability to nourish and stimulate the skin cells to encourage regeneration of healthy skin cells. Cucumber Seed Oil contains a significant percentage of Omega-9 Oleic Acid and Omega-6 Linoleic Acid and can be effective in treating dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, acne and sunburned skin.

*Sunflower oil contains other helpful substances, such as omega-6 and omega-9, or linoleic acid and oleic acid. These substances are both shown to contribute to tissue and cell strength. The vitamin E in sunflower oil has antioxidants that help with premature aging and wrinkles, keeping your skin looking young and fresh. Sunflower oil also contains linoleic acid, which helps your skin retain moisture so it becomes less dry. Reinforcing this natural moisture barrier is especially helpful for those with eczema or otherwise dry skin. In addition, linoleic acid helps to protect the face from bacteria and germs.

*Red Raspberry Seed Oil is great for formulation into skincare products - from anti-aging to acne, to even products targeting irritated or sensitive skin. It has been shown to have UV blocking properties, making it an excellent addition to sunscreens. Besides, Raspberry Oil is excellent for soothing irritation and swelling from hot conditions including rashes and rosacea. The high levels of natural Vitamin E in Red Raspberry Seed Oil is excellent at protecting the skin against environmental stress effects, which reduces wrinkles and helps maintain the natural beauty. It is known to be particularly high in Linolenic Acid, which can help alleviate symptoms associated with inflammatory conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

*Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil contains omega 6 and the highly sought after omega 7, brilliant for aiding in skin repair and regeneration, making this oil ideal for problem skin. It is a fast absorbing and will help to soothe inflammation and reduce redness. Due to its free radical scavenging and tissue regeneration properties, Sea Buckthorn Oil should be considered for addition to formulations intended to help combat wrinkles, and to sooth dry, irritated skin. Studies have shown that the Sea Buckthorn Oil can actually improve skin metabolism and retard skin maturation, thereby slowing down the aging process. Rich in betacarotenes, it gives a glowing complexion and is perfect for after-sun care.

*Green tea is a natural defender. Over exposure to environmental stressors, like UV radiation, regularly leave our hair and skin susceptible to damage caused by free radicals. It is imperative to protect the hair and skin from free radicals with powerful antioxidants, such as those found in green tea. Green tea is laden with defensive antioxidants that help fight the appearance of fine line and wrinkles and help maintain healthy, shiny hair.

*Co-Enzyme Q10 Powder also known as ubiquinone, is a vitamin-like substance acting similar to Vitamin E. CoQ10 is critical to the production of energy in every cell of the human body. It aids in circulation, stimulates the immune system, increases tissue oxygenation, and has vital anti-aging effects. CoQ10 has exceptional antioxidant properties. Studies have shown that it can be effectively counteract free radical damage and provide significant protection against UVA-induced depletion of cell membrane. This function helps to prevent damage to collagen and elastin production process and help with wrinkles. Please note: Since CoQ10 has a deep orange color, skin creams and lotions become usually slightly yellowish or orange with significant amount of CoQ10 in the product.
