Beautiful 1940s German crystal water pitcher with glass ice insert. This piece features a cylindrical silver plate rim, hinged lid, and arched handle on a rounded cut crystal base with a starburst motif on its base. The silver plate rim is marked “D.R.G.M.” for “Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster”, a pre-1952 German registration mark. The silver plate is on solid brass. We do not clean or polish vintage items, we leave that up to the buyer as they see fit. The Silverplating has lots of natural tarnished patina.
